What is VPN? VPN is a Virtual Private Network. This technology creates a secured network connection over a public network such as your Internet Service Provider (ISP), in the Philippines they are Globe Telecom and Smart Telecom.

There are 2 types of commonly used Protocols, we called them as UDP (User Datagram Protocol) and TCP (Transmission Control Protocol).

What is UDP and TCP?

UDP – usually it is faster that the TCP that can stream videos and audios such as YouTube, Netflix, Spotify and much more. UDP is more reliable for using a P2P and direct download.

TCP – it is more reliable than you ever expected but it is slower than the UDP because of the Acknowledgement packet to receive and confirm that the packet/data has been received by the user.
